City living in the Lonsdale area of North Vancouver

This site is dedicated to all the people who make their home in the City of North Vancouver – specifically, the central Lonsdale and lower Lonsdale areas. This vibrant community on the North side of the Burrard Inlet, between Lonsdale Quay Market and the Upper Levels Highway, is home to some of the best shopping, dining and recreation on the North Shore, possibly even in the entire Metro Vancouver area.

In these pages I will work to build out the most comprehensive directory of real life testimonials about every noteworthy shop, restaurant, park, gym and social spot in this beautiful area. I want to profile every restaurant from Bella Candela and Gusto Di Quattro to The District and Nandos. I hope to capture the Lonsdale shopping experience by profiling shops such as Vivid and North Shore Ski & Board as well as retailers such as RDS and Plum. Even the fitness facilities in the area are pushing the envelope with high end yoga and pilates studios, boxing clubs and martial arts dojos.
